South Auckland

South Auckland is also known as the industrial heartland of Auckland with workshops, factories and warehouses providing work for many Aucklanders. A lot of young Aucklanders that are starting out, end up working and living in this region. Which is why, the population of South Auckland has seen mostly, young, working-class people. Mangere, Manukau, Otahuhu, the Port of Onehunga etc. are some of the key areas that generate a lot of jobs for many young workers. Due to its demography and work opportunity, South Auckland has become one of the fastest growing property markets in the Auckland region. With great proximity to the domestic and international airports, better access to the port, and budding business opportunities, a lot of people are moving to South Auckland.
